April 2003...
Angies puppies have gone to their homes. Two boys from this litter went to families that came back to Brasswinds for their second Brasswinds English Setter.

All of Claire's puppies are blue. Pretty pretty heads! These puppies have the sweetest personalities. One pet girl is available from this litter.

Peyton has been bred to a young dog in Washington state. Emanuel (Set'r Ridges Gold In Platinum) is out of our Ben and Nadia.

This is an exciting line breeding
This litter is due in May.
Emanuel

Another exciting litter due in May, Charm was bred to Tattoo. This will be Charm's first litter. This should produce pretty heads and lots of substance.

Gabbie (English Cocker) is visiting with Spirit (Ch Jaybriar's You're Possessed) -photo on the left-. This should be a really nice breeding.
Spirit's mom is a multi Best in Show winner at 11 years of age! Gabbie's litter will be due mid May.

Brasswinds Pardon My Color

Ephraim
Our young English Setter, Ephraim (Brasswinds Pardon My Color) who is by Angie and Tattoo has been doing great at the shows. He was Best of Winners for two points on the Tar-Heel Circuit and Best of Winners at one of the Harrisburg, PA shows for a 4 point major from the 9-12 month puppy class.

Ephraim did great at the Nat'l Capital English Setter Club Specialty. He won Best of Opposite in the Sweepstakes, Reserve Winners Dog and Best Puppy from the 9-12 month class!

Ephraim is BAER clear and has a clear hip preliminary xray.

We had a great weekend at the Harrisburg shows. In addition to Ephraim's 4 point major, English Cocker, Perry (Ch Brasswinds Imaginary Friend) was Best of Winners for his last major win to complete his championship. Perry is now BAER Clear and will be xrayed for OFA next week.

English Cocker Lydia (Brasswinds Life Of The Party) now has 10 points including a 4 point major that she won going Best of Winners at one of the Harrisburg shows. Lydia is just 16 months old!

And last but not least! The baby, English Cocker Wyatt, (Brasswinds Outlaw In Blue) by Ch Ziel-Lor's Wild Tiger Root and Willow, won Best of Winners for a 4 point major from the 6-9 month class!

We had a fabulous weekend!

Tattoo is a dad again! Congrats to Larry and Ray Mutch on their litter by their Darcy and Tattoo. They had 3 males and 3 females and they look to be all blue or tri.

Check out the English Setter Foundation Girls. A few more girls have been added.
