Between dog shows and puppies Brasswinds has been a busy place!
English Setter, Ben, has sired several beautiful litters. His kids have
been winning throughout the country. Several of his puppies have won
major points from the puppy class and at least one has a Puppy Group 1st
win. On the Hudson English Setter Club weekend, three Ben sons won
majors...all from different litters and two won from the 6-9 mo class!
A similar thing happened at the Springfield MA shows where Ben's kids
won three of the four shows.
Ben and Nadia's son, Ch Setr Ridges Gold in Platinum finished his
championship with his third Specialty 5 point major. And his kennel
mate, Ch Setr Ridges Everlasting who is a Ben daughter, won several
Sporting Group placements and two Specialty Best of Breeds. She is also
doing well in field competition.
Philip, (Brasswinds Touch') our young tri boy picked up a few more
single points and several major reserves at the shows.

Brasswinds Forbidden (London/Bonnie) finished her championship in no
time. She won 5 points at the New England Specialty and finished with
her last major in Springfield MA winning the major and Best of Breed
over the special.

Our English Cockers have done well too!
From the Hope/Rooti litter, three have major points from the puppy
classes.
Sugar (Brasswinds Remember When) has two 4 point majors from the 6-9 mo
class! She just needs three singles to finish.

Our girl from the litter, Floozie (Brasswinds Romp In The Hay) won
several major reserves from the 6-9 mos class and then won a 5 point
major the day after the Bryn Mawr Specialty. She won from the 9-12 mo
class. That same day she won Best English Cocker Puppy and a Puppy
Sporting Group 1st!

The black and white boy Rugby (Brasswinds Rugby) picked up his first
major and several single points from the 6-9 mo classes.

Roadie, (Ch Brasswinds Roadracer at Warwick) is the youngest owner
handled English Cocker to ever finish his championship. He completed
his points at age 7mos. He's been shown only a few times as a champion
but has won a couple impressive breeds over specials.

True, (Blueprint Red White and Blue) our tri girl, now has 12 points
including a 5 point major. She just needs a major to finish her
championship.

We are really excited about our "Hob" (Ch Brasswinds Ego Trip) puppies
that are just old enough to start showing.
Spencer (Brasswinds Edmund Spencer) won the point at his first show and
went Reserve Winners at his second at just 6mos of age. Spencer is an
exceptional orange roan boy.
Litters:
Our English Setter litters have arrived. Puppies and moms are all doing
great. We have an all tri litter out of Bonnie (Brasswinds Tribute) and
Philip (Brasswinds Touch') and Charm's puppies are blue, tri and
orange. We will post photos of them soon.
We do not have English Cocker puppies at this time. However, there are
several breeders with litters sired by Hob that we can refer you to.
