Brasswinds' English Setters have been successful in the show ring on a local and national level.

• Won at the National English Setter Specialty Show each year since 1989.
• Won several awards from the English Setter Club of America including "Breeder Of The Year" the only member to ever win this award three years in a row.
• To date, there are over seventy (70) American Champion English Setters with the Brasswinds name.
• Ch Brasswinds Sitn' On A Goldmine "Bobby" #1 English Setter in the USA.

  • His son Ch. Brasswinds Sonrise Ahhmen, "London" is the only English Setter in the history of the breed to ever win the National Best in Futurity and Best of Breed at the National Specialty the following year.

Our English Setters also hunt! Brasswinds' English Setters make great field companions.

• Several of our dogs have completed either an ESAA Hunting Dog or AKC Junior Hunter Titles.
• Ch. Brasswinds Liberty Bell recently completed her Master Hunter Title.
• Ch. Brasswinds Edwardian Tryst sired the first dual champion English Setter bitch.

You may have seen our English Setters on TV.

• Featured in the Pedigree dog food commercials. We did several ads for Pedigree dog food products that were televised in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
• The Eukanuba dog food company featured one of our English Setters in print ads as well as their product literature.
• The two English Setters pictured on the AKC brochure (Winter Care For Canines) are also from our breeding.
• Brasswinds English Setters have been featured on many calendars as well.

We consider good temperament a priority when breeding our English Setters. In addition, all of our breeding English Setters are x-rayed or OFA certified clear of hip displasia.
